华北赛区

本次比赛的华北赛区分赛由北京星德威琴行主办，于2007年5月开始，历时4个月。共有来自华北各省市的青少年选手98人报名参赛，分专业A、B、C组和业余A、B、C、D组进行了此次比赛的角逐。

比赛组委会为每一位选手都安排了充裕的练琴时间，保证了选手能够体会施坦威钢琴独一无二的声音及细腻的手感，也增进了同选手及家长的沟通与交流，得到了家长们的赞赏。

比赛于2007年9月15、16日在北京星德威琴行举行，专业组比赛汇集了大量高水平琴童，在人数和演奏水平上均比上一届有了明显的提高；另外此次比赛新增加的业余组比赛，给更多的业余琴童一个能够在国际大赛上展现自己的舞台，也让他们亲身体会到施坦威钢琴的魅力所在。

本次大赛的评委会汇集了国内顶级音乐学府的知名教授及国内著名的钢琴演奏家，评委会主席为吴迎教授，评委有：杨峻、张晋、李民、石叔诚、韩冰、陈云仙，均是在业内具有教高地位和影响力的专家。

通过评委专业细致的评判，专业A、B、C组和业余B、C组的前三名脱颖而出进入将于2007年12月7-9日在北京举行的中国区总决赛，同其他赛区的晋级选手同台竞技。


Organized by Beijing Xingdewei Musical Instrument Co., Ltd. (“Xingdewei”), the competition of North China region kicked off in May 2007 and lasted 4 months. 98 contestants participants from the provinces in North China signed up and were divided into professional groups A, B and C and amateur groups A, B, C and D for purpose of this competition.

The organizing commitee arranged ample practicing time for every participant to make sure that they could experience the unique sound and delicate touch of Steinway pianos. This arrangement also enhanced the communications between the participants and their parents, receiving the praises from the parents.

The competition was held in Beijing Xingdewei from September 15 to 16, 2007. In the professional groups attracted a large number of high-level children pianists, thus the number of participants and their performance were remarkable higher than the last competition. This year, the competition is open to amateur players, which give more amateur children a stage where they can exhibit themselves in a world-class competition and experience the enchantment of Steinway pianos.

The jury panel was a galaxy of the famous professors of topnotch domestic musical colleges and renowned domestic pianists, including Professor Wu Ying, chairman of the panel, Yang Jun, Zhang Jin, Li Min, Shi Shucheng, Han Bing and Chen Yunxian, who are all experts of high position and sway within the circles.

Through their professional and meticulous judgment, the top 3 of each group came out and will enter the finals of China region to be held in Beijing on December 7~9, 2007 to compete with the winners of the preliminaries in other regions.





东北赛区

经过两天紧张而激烈的比赛，秉承公平、公正的原则，第三届施坦威全国青少年钢琴比赛暨第71届施坦威国际青少年钢琴比赛(东北赛区)决赛终于圆满地落下了帷幕。

沈阳旺族琴行作为比赛的承办单位，为比赛做了大量的宣传，并得到了沈阳音乐学院钢琴系及沈阳音乐学院附中的大力支持，使得本届比赛的参赛人数达到206人，比赛规模远远大于上一届。

本届施坦威钢琴比赛(东北赛区)决赛是分两天在两个场地同时进行的，虽然比赛规模大于上一届，但整场比赛是在有条不紊、井然有序中进行的。本届比赛的评委全部都是沈阳音乐学院专家及教授，评审委员会主席为沈阳音乐学院钢琴系副主任张芳，副主席为沈阳音乐学院钢琴系副主任李哲、和沈阳音乐学院附中键盘学科副主任李晓军，强大的评委阵容使比赛成绩更加真实可靠。

在本届比赛的颁奖晚会上，获得参加北京中国区决赛的7名选手，分别在施坦威170钢琴上演奏了他们的参赛曲目，并表示能够参加施坦威钢琴比赛是他们开阔眼界、增长见识、博采众长的难得机会。

After two days of tense and fierce competition under the principle of fairness and equity, the 71st Steinway Children & Youths Piano Competition and 3rd China Regional Competition (Northeast Region) came to a successful end.
As the organizer of the competition, Shenyang Wang Music Co., Ltd. did a lot of publicity work. The competition also got great support from the Piano Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music and its affiliated middle school. The number of participants reached 206, much larger than the last competition.

The regional finals of Northeast region are carried out simultaneously on two sites in two days. Although the scale was much larger than that of the last one, the entire competition proceeded in an orderly way. All the juries were the experts and professors of Shenyang Conservatory of Music. The chairman and vice chairmen of the jury panel are Prof. Zhang Fang, Prof. Li Zhe & Mr. Li Xiaojun. The former two are both deputy director of Piano Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, And Mr. Li Xiaojun is the deputy director of keyboard discipline of attached School of Shenyang Conservotary. The strong lineup of juries helped make the results fair-and-square and reliable.

At the prize awarding evening, 7 participants qualified for the final of China region to be held in Beijing performed their repertoire separately on Steinway 170 piano. They noted that participation in Steinway piano competition was a rare opportunity for them to broaden their horizon, increase knowledge and learn from others.






西部赛区

2007年施坦威全国青少年钢琴比赛西部赛区选拔赛在四川成都四川音乐学院顺利落下帷幕。比赛评委由钢琴系知名专家组成，分别有杨汉果、郑大昕、郭幼容、李秀美、顾馨、许兵、王雁、杨成刚、冯怡。比赛过程中，选手们都发挥自己最好的水平，各个组别的竞争都相当激烈！最后，每个组别的前两名被推荐到北京参加全国的总决赛。


The regional finals of western region of 2007 National Youth Piano Competition came to a smooth close in Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. All the juries were famous professors & experts from the Piano Department, including Yang Hanguo, Zheng Daxi, Guo Yourong, Li Xiumei, Gu Xin, Xu Bing, Wang Yan, Yang Chenggang and Feng Yi. The participants brought out the best in them and the competition in all groups was tense. In the end, the top 2 contestants of each group were recommended for the national final to be held in Beijing.





华东赛区

第71届施坦威国际青少年钢琴比赛华东地区选拔赛于2007年10月6日在上海东方艺术中心音乐厅内举办。本次比赛的华东赛区分赛由上海通利琴行主办，于2007年5月开始，历时4个月。共有来自华东各省市的青少年选手将近200人报名参赛，分专业A、B、C组和业余A、B、C、D组进行了此次比赛的角逐。

本次比赛的参赛选手演奏的技巧和水平都非常的高，本次大赛的评委会也汇集了上海顶级音乐学府的知名教授及国内著名的钢琴演奏家，及业内具有较高地位和影响力的专家，评委会主席为陈庆峰教授。通过评委专业细致的评判，专业A、B、C组和业余B、C组的前三名脱颖而出进入将于2007年12月7-9日在北京举行的中国区总决赛，同其他赛区的晋级选手同台竞技。


The region finals of east, middle China region was held in the music hall of Shanghai Oriental Art Center on October 6, 2007. Hosted by Shanghai Tom Lee, the event kicked off in May 2007 and lasted 5 months. Nearly 200 youths from the provinces in East China signed up and were divided into professional groups A, B and C and amateur groups A, B, C and D for the competition.

While the participants showed high performance techniques and attainment, the judging panel, chaired by Professor Chen Qingfeng, was also a galaxy of famous professors from topnotch musical colleges in Shanghai and well-known domestic pianists, who are all experts of high position and sway within the circles. Through their professional and meticulous judgment, the top 3 of each group were decided and are to participate in the finals of China region to be held in Beijing during December 7 to 9, 2007 to compete with the winners of the preliminaries in other regions.






华南赛区

世界名琴施坦威 (Steinway & Sons) 主办的施坦威国际青少年钢琴比赛华南赛区决赛及颁奖礼，于10月27日及28日在星海音乐学院音乐厅圆满举行。

本届华南赛区比赛，邀请到华南地区唯一音乐学府——星海音乐学院与通利广州施坦威钢琴专卖店共同主办，盛况空前。评委主席但昭义教授联同来自深圳、广州、广西及香港各地的评委们，为比赛作出专业、权威的点评。

此次比赛新分设业余及专业组，业余组选手竞争之激烈，表现之纯熟，超出评委们预估，获得一致好评。希望今后能有更多的青少年和儿童钢琴演奏者勇于参与我们的盛会，为华南区的青少年钢琴事业，带来积极的推动力。


Sponsored by the world famous Steinway & Sons, the regional finals and prize awarding ceremony of South China, were held successfully in Xinghai Conservatory of Music on October 27 and 28.

Upon invitation, Xinghai Conservatory of Music, the only conservatory of higher education in South China, co-organized the competition in South China zone jointly with Tom Lee Guangzhou Steinway Haus. It was really a hit. The jury committee included Professor Dan Zhaoyi, served as chairman of the committee, and experts from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Guangxi and Hong Kong.

For the first time, the participants were divided into amateur groups and professional groups. In the amateur groups, the participants competed so fiercely and performed so well that they went beyond the expectations of judges, winning unanimous praises. It is hoped that, in future, more contestants and children pianists can be boldly take part in this event to give a strong push to the development of piano education in South China.




港澳赛区

由通利音乐基金会主办的第71届“施坦威国际青少年钢琴比赛”港澳赛区决赛于9月30日圆满结束，经过激战后，7组共19名优胜者凭出色表现获胜，其中13名港澳精英更可晋身于北京举行的中国区总决赛，争夺各组第一名、第二名、第三名及全场唯一的特等奖荣誉。本次评委会成员阵容鼎盛，由17位著名钢琴家及音乐教育家组成，包括纪大卫教授、何司能教授、郭嘉特教授、黄懿伦教授、郑慧博士、张鹏博士、梁晓鸣博士、李健博士及吴美乐博士等。今年为隆重其事，通利音乐基金会更于11月18日假香港演艺学院音乐厅举行“颁奖音乐典礼”，并邀得本年“第11届舒伯特国际钢琴比赛”第四名得主岑健威先生作表演嘉宾，让观众一睹岑健威及各组优胜者的风采，细心欣赏这群港澳钢琴小精英的精彩表演。(专业A、B、C组及业余B、C组之第一至三名优胜者可晋身于北京举行的中国赛区总决赛)


Organized by Tom Lee Music Foundation, the finals of Hong Kong-Macao region of 71st International Youth Piano Competition, drew to a successful close on September 30. After fierce bouts, 19 winners of 7 groups came out owing to their excellent performance, among which 13 are to go to Beijing to compete for the first, second and third prize of each group and the only “Special Honor Prize”. The lineup of the jury panel was impressive and composed of 17 famous pianists and music educators, including Professor David Gwilt, Prof. He Sineng, Prof. Guo Jiate, Prof. Huang Yilun, Dr. Zheng Hui, Dr. Zhang Peng, Dr. Liang Xiaoming, Dr. Li Jian and Dr. Wu Meile. To celebrate the event, Tom Lee Music Foundation held a “Prize Awarding Musical Ceremony” in the music hall of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts on November 18. Mr. Cen Jianwei, 4th place winner in the “11st International Schubert-Competition for Piano” of this year, attended as performing guest of honor upon invitation. The audience had an opportunity to witness the elegant demeanor of Cen and the winners and heartily enjoy the wonderful performance of the group of young piano elites. (The top 3 of each group can enter the finals of China region to be held in Beijing. )
